Learn the techniques to render life-like animals in watercolors with award-winning wild-life artist Steve Hamlin. Starting from a provided preliminary drawing, we’ll experiment with painting backgrounds, then move into capturing fur, wet and/or reflective surfaces like eyes, tongues and tongues and noses. We’ll examine underlying musculature and anatomy and the way it is affected by light and shadow. Some experience with watercolors is recommended. Supply list provided.
