Learn techniques to render life-like animals in watercolors from award-winning wildlife artist, Steve Hamlin. Starting from a provided preliminary drawing, explore painting backgrounds, fur, and wet and/or reflective surfaces like eyes, tongues and noses. We’ll examine underlying musculature and anatomy and the way it is affected by light and shadow. Some experience with watercolors is recommended. Bring a lunch. Most materials will be available for loan or purchase. Supply list provided.
