Learn techniques to render life-like animals in watercolors from wild-life artist Steve Hamlin. Starting from a provided preliminary drawing, explore painting backgrounds, fur, and wet and/or reflective surfaces like eyes, tongues, and noses. We’ll discuss the form, movement, behavior and typical habitat of our subject, and the way it is affected by light and shadow. Some experience with watercolors is recommended. Bring a lunch. Supply list provided.
