Make your feathered friends come to life in this one-day workshop. Learn what you need to feel confident to create your own painterly bird pastel. Hone your ability to capture the character of your favorite bird. Bird placement, composition, and tips on creating the effect of feathers without getting bogged down in detail will be demonstrated and shared. Emphasis will be on ways to apply the pastel to achieve the desired effects. For all levels. Bring a lunch or plan to dine at the Museums’ Blake House Cafe. Supply list provided.
