Learn techniques to render life-like birds in watercolors from wildlife artist Steve Hamlin. Starting from a provided preliminary drawing, explore painting backgrounds, plumage, wet and/or reflective surfaces like eyes and beaks. We’ll discuss the form, movement, behavior and typical habitat of our subject, and the way it is affected by light and shadow. Some experience with watercolors recommended. Bring a lunch. Supply list provided.
