Learn techniques to render life-like birds in watercolors from wildlife artist Steve Hamlin. Starting from a provided preliminary drawing, explore painting backgrounds, plumage, wet and/or reflective surfaces like eyes and beaks. We’ll discuss the form, movement, and typical habitat of our subject, and the way it is affected by light. Some experience with watercolors is recommended. Most materials will be available for loan or purchase. Supply list provided.
