This is an online class!
Join artist Robert Masla as he shares a variety of thoughts, methods and techniques involved in painting the landscape in either oil or acrylic, (Masla will be using Cobra water mixable oils). Masla will share with you his concepts on artistic intention and it’s effect in choosing composition, materials and techniques. He will also guide you in the important principles and painting methods for rendering convincing landscapes. He will explain the benefits and difficulties with both plein air and studio painting, and during the course of the day, we will understand these principles as we create a painting based on photographic references. Be prepared to learn a lot and have fun doing it! Supply list and reference photo provided. Each student receives a free canvas, courtesy of Fredrix Canvas!
