It’s time to create your favorite pet in pastel! Using one of your favorite pet photos, you’ll learn how to capture the essence of your best friend. The class will begin with a one-hour demo during which you’ll learn how to size up your image using the grid method. The demo will include how to achieve stunning light effects on fur, eyes and ways to capture the likeness of your pet. Tips on pastel technique for these desired effects will be shown. Drawing experience is helpful if you are planning to do a pet portrait. Supply list provided.
Claire Fontaine Pastel Mat Paper will to used for the demo. It offers great effects for fur and will be available for purchase at class.
