Learn the step-by-step process of painting portraits and faces. Working either from a reference of their own choosing, or one provided by the instructor, students will learn how to create their very own portrait painting. Each week students will learn a different concept and technique, developing their work from a simple underpainting to a finished oil painting. Along the way, students will build important skills such as mixing realistic flesh tones, paint application, and how to capture the likeness of their subject. Supply list provided.
