Calling all bird lovers! Learn the technique of painting these endearing creatures in soft pastel. Focus will be on rendering the gentle quality of these birds by capturing the expression of the eyes, beak, and feet while simplifying the body and background. Design and composition within a small, square format will be discussed. Beginning with a demonstration using Sennelier La Carte paper, we will follow with uninterrupted time at your easel with plenty of instruction. Plenty of songbird photos provided. Bring any songbird photos you have, especially photos that show detail of the eye, beak, and feet. Supply list provided.
