Explore the possibilities of PanPastels in this fun and technique-filled workshop. PanPastels come in a unique pan format (cake-like) and can be mixed and applied like paint. Their unique qualities make them ideal for exploring new techniques for painting, drawing and mixed media. Artist Lisa Regopoulos will demonstrate color mixing, creative techniques, and the different ways to apply Panpastels, as well as how to combine them with soft pastels to develop a painterly pastel painting. Following the demo, attendees will have plenty of time to practice the techniques and create their own PanPastel masterpiece. Lots of individual instruction provided. For all levels. Bring a lunch or plan to dine at the Museums’ Blake Café. Supply list provided.
If attendees do not have their own Panpastels and applicators, they are welcome to use the instructors with an additional $10.00 materials fee. The instructor will be demonstrating using Uart 400 paper.
