Learn to create a beautiful and convincing portrait painting. The process is broken down into a simple method so that students will be able to approach the canvas with confidence. By the end of the course, students will know how to capture proportions of the individual sitter, create a convincing sense of light and form, color mixing basics, and of course, how to create likeness. Prior drawing or painting experience is helpful, but not required. Bring a lunch. Supply list provided.
