On December 21 just after sunset, Jupiter and Saturn will appear right next to each other in the sky. They make a close approach every 20 years and this one will be exceptionally close, placing them in the same field of view in a low power telescope. Join us for a preview of this event with viewing tips, background of planetary motion in the sky, and some details about these planets.
