Restoring our Victorian Home: How We Got There, and How We Found, Researched, and Restored It

Forty years of life with a Victorian home in Springfield’s McKnight neighborhood. From vacant rooming house to a period restored and furnished showplace. The Boone’s home has been featured in numerous national and local publications as well as on many local house tours. Talk will feature many before and after photos of the restoration process.

Presented by Jim Boone, retired High School Guidance Counselor, local historic preservationist, President Emeritus of Springfield Preservation Trust.

The audience is invited to bring a lunch to enjoy during the program.

Followed by a Museum members-only Continuing Conversation with docent Diane Huot.
