Create several small silk paintings in this class, which teaches methods of stretching silk for painting; using resist; transferring designs to the fabric; color layering. Ideas for matting and framing your finished silk paintings will also be offered. All levels are welcome.
One yard of silk fabric and resist supplies are included in your class fee.
Supplies to bring: Your nontoxic silk paints and brushes (silk paints can be purchased from the Museum School if you wish), several jelly jars or other mixing containers; and pencil, ruler, scissors, and a roll of masking tape.
