What do famous taxidermist Louis Paul Jonas, Sinclair Oil, the 1964 World’s Fair & a T-Rex have to do with the Springfield Science Museum? Join Science Docent Joel Cummings as he unravels these connections, beginning in the 1930s and continuing through today. This walk through of the history of the Science Museum will reveal how the work of Louis Paul Jonas helped transform the collections of the Springfield Science Museum and what led to the arrival of Tyra the T-Rex in Dinosaur Hall.
