The New Britain Museum of American Art represents a panoramic view of American artistic achievements through its vast collection of over 5,000 works of art. Enjoy a guided highlights tour and lunch at the museum followed by an afternoon guided tour of the home and gardens of the Hill Stead Museum. The 1901 colonial revival house is filled with French Impressionist masterpieces, decorative arts and antiques, with English-inspired gardens (roses and peonies in bloom!) that take advantage of the sweeping vistas and valleys.
Guide: Jeanne Fontaine
Includes guided tour of both museums; lunch; bus transportation and driver tip.
