| Cost: $4 | Cost for Members: $2

Visit the Science Museum’s historic Seymour Planetarium for an exciting investigation into one of history’s most enduring mysteries: the Star of Bethlehem.  Is it possible that the cosmic appearance seen by the Wise Men over 2000 years ago was a celestial object or event that can be identified, or will it forever remain shrouded in mystery?  Astronomy educators Jack Megas and Richard Sanderson will discuss the history of the “Christmas Star” and offer some possible scientific explanations.

Presented by Richard Sanderson, Curator of Physical Science, Springfield Science Museum, and Jack Megas, Planetarium Educator, Springfield Science Museum

The audience is invited to bring a lunch to enjoy during the program.
