Scientific reports abound with news about water on Mars, earth-like planets at other stars, dark matter, and more. Learn about these fascinating topics with the aid of computer programs and images. Part of the session will be a review of some basics about light and the methods that astronomers use to probe the vast distances of the universe. Designed for those with a deep interest in these topics but no strong or recent background in science required.
