Unknown Marvels from the Art World

September 22, 2022 @ 12:15 pm1:30 pm
| Cost: $4 | Cost for Members: FREE

We believe we know so much about the world of art, but there are marvels and mysteries that should easily whet our tastes to know more. This lecture will be a teaser for a full series of six lectures that will ask the question “Did You Know About….” and then plug in ideas, movements, and enigmas from lost art to explorations of individuals who propelled art and architecture in new, innovative directions.

Presented by Dr Simon Sibelman, Professor Emeritus, French and Holocaust Studies, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh; Executive Director emeritus, Virginia Holocaust Museum; Director Emeritus, Center for Judaic, Holocaust, and Peace Studies, Appalachian State University
