This is now an outdoor class!
Wear a mask, bring your art supplies and a lunch! Following the CDC and Museum guidelines, this class will be held outdoors, safely-distanced and sheltered from the sun and weather on the lovely loggia of the GWV Smith Art Museum.
Practice skills and painting approaches in watercolor. Some of the painting techniques include graded washes, wet-in-wet, drybrush, spatter, and masking. Composition, draftsmanship and color theory will also be discussed. Quarter-sheet or 11×14” Arches cold-pressed paper required–available for purchase at the class. Bring a lunch or dine at the Blake House Café. Supply list provided.
