There’s something so beautiful about snow covered evergreens. Working on dark sanded paper, the focus will be on achieving luminosity on the snow-covered branches with attention on utilizing the correct values to achieve form and depth. Building light effect and shadows on snow will be demonstrated during the one-hour demo. The use of neutral colors will also be discussed. There will be plenty of at your easel instruction and uninterrupted pastel painting time. Everyone will leave with a finished winter pastel masterpiece. This class is for all levels, but some knowledge of pastel is helpful.
