Mix up your work week with a toast to culture, community and conversation. “Gingerbread Houses and Candy Cane Cocktails” will be held on Thursday, December 8, from 5 to 8 pm in the Springfield Science Museum.

Enjoy holiday-themed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, listen to festive music by the Gene Bartley Brass Quintet, see a planetarium show, and tour the Gingerbread Fantasy exhibit. You can also make your own gingerbread house while supplies last.

Admission is free for members of the Springfield Museums and $5 for non-members and will include free hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

The event is for people ages 21 and up. Both members and nonmembers are encouraged to make advance reservations through springfieldmuseums.org or by phone at 413.263.6800, ext. 266.
