The Springfield Museums will present the following Museums à la Carte programs in April. The programs are held on Thursdays at 12:15 pm in the Michele and Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts.
- April 5 – Elusive Harmonies: Impressionism in French Music, 1876 to 1914; Guy McLain, director, Wood Museum of Springfield History
- April 12 – Indomitable Spirits: True Stories of Courage and Adventure by Cutting Edge Women of the Early 20th Century; William Murphy, author
- April 19 – No program today; school vacation week
- April 26 – Papua New Guinea: The Last Frontier; Amy S. Dane, docent, Springfield Museums
Admission to Museums à la Carte is $4 ($2 for members of the Springfield Museums). The programs are sponsored by Big Y World Class Market. Visitors are invited to bring lunch to enjoy during the program. Cookies and coffee are provided.
