Get an Early Start on Mardi Gras at the Springfield Museums

The Springfield Museums' Culture & Cocktails series will continue on Thursday, March 3, with “Fat Thursday: A Taste of New Orleans.” The event will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Lyman & Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History at the Quadrangle.


Admission is $5 and will include live music by The Primate Fiasco of Northampton, who describe their music as “psychedelic Dixieland.” There will also be catered hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar with the Hurricane as the featured cocktail. Guests will receive free Mardi Gras beads at the door.
