The Springfield Museums at the Quadrangle will present the following Museums à la Carte programs in September. The programs are held on Thursdays at 12:15 pm in the Michele and Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts.
Sept. 9 – Springfield: A Life in Postcards; G. Michael Dobbs, author.
Sept.16 – A Hungry Hill Trinity: Life and Times of Three Generations; Joan Reilly B.A., author
Sept. 23 – A Window to the World of Honey Bees: Beekeeping at the Springfield Science Museum; Ellen-Rose Savulis, curator of anthropology, and David Stier, director, Springfield Science Museum.
Sept. 30 – How Art Made the World, Part Five: To Death and Back; a DVD presentation.
Admission to Museums à la Carte is $4 ($2 for members of the Springfield Museums). The programs are sponsored by Big Y World Class Market. Visitors are invited to bring lunch to enjoy during the program; cookies and coffee are provided.
