Seuss Exhibit Extended

The special exhibition The Cat in the Hat Turns 50, on view at the Connecticut Valley Historical Museum, has been extended until August 26.


Planned in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the publication of The Cat in the Hat, the exhibit of limited edition artwork from the Dr. Seuss estate includes a bronze Cat in the Hat and a variety of whimsical Seussian sculptures such as a "Semi-Normal Green Lidded Fawn" and a "Mulberry Street Unicorn." The exhibition also includes 13 framed prints of illustrations from Dr. Seuss books.
