Not a Big Fan until I Visited with My Daughter

I wasn’t a big fan of the Museums until I had my oldest daughter. Being a teen mom with barely any money to take my one-year-old anywhere. People kept telling me the Museums were free, but I thought they would be boring for a one-year-old. But one day I decided to give it a try and I don’t regret that day. The Museums inspired me to continue taking my daughter and teaching her more about history. She is four now and we still go to the Museums. Her favorite part is the dinosaurs and the Dr. Seuss place. Our first time in the Dr. Seuss place was amazing. My daughter loved playing in the kitchen, walking around pointing at everything and making new friends. The Museums helped my daughter to open up her mind and ask questions about history. –Felixsha Gonzalez
