The Springfield Museums present An Out of This World Halloween, Saturday, October 29, from 10am–5pm. Wear your best costumes, trick-or-treat in the Museum galleries, and participate in activities inspired by the Card Tricks: Salvador Dalí and the Art of Playing Cards exhibit and the Josh Simpson: Visionary Explorations in Glass exhibit. Free with museum admission!
“An Out of This World Halloween is all about imagination and fun,” said Clarissa Leverich, Family Engagement Coordinator for the Springfield Museums. “Inspired by the themes of astronomy in the Josh Simpson: Visionary Explorations in Glass exhibit and the awe-inspiring revelations of NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope, An Out of This World Halloween will take our visitors’ curiosity to new heights!”
As they explore the grounds of the Museums, visitors will discover different ways to celebrate art, science, and Halloween in captivating, imaginative ways.
“Our Halloween celebration is always filled with spirited fun! We’re looking forward to offering engaging STEM activities and marveling at all the creative costumes,” said Larissa Murray, Director of Education.
