Drawing Wildlife in Colored Pencil

January 31, 2023 @ 12:30 pm2:30 pm
| Cost: $140 | Cost for Members: $120

This class will teach the novice, as well as the more experienced wildlife enthusiast, the basic skills needed to create a realistic animal portrait using colored pencils using different blending tools to create a smooth transition from one color to another. We will also learn the techniques of layering and “weaving” the different shades of pencils to create realistic looking pelt or fur. By finding the darkest darks and the lightest of the lights, we’ll show where the source of light is originating from and how that plays a key role in making your picture look realistic.

Instructor: Nick Frasco
