Take inspiration from the artwork of Vincent Van Gogh as you create a special accessory for your own wardrobe or a unique handmade gift for a special recipient. This one-session class introduces the basics of silk painting. Each student will have the chance to paint one or several silk scarves. Color washes, resist painting, and stamping are some of the methods that can be used. All levels welcome.
Supplies to bring:
- Your nontoxic silk paints and brushes. (Silk paints can be purchased from the Museum School for $23.
- Several jelly jars or other mixing containers
- A pencil, ruler, scissors, and a roll of masking tape.
