An Intern’s Perspective: Welcome to Literacy Lodgings!
This series of blog posts–An Intern’s Perspective–is dedicated to exploring the many exhibits that exist within the Springfield Museums and the importance of literacy in all aspects of the Museums. Literacy is the quality of state of being educated and cultured.
From the Spark!Lab, to the Cat’s Corner, to the Plaster Cast Gallery, to African Hall and much, much more, the Springfield Museums provide wonderful (and wonder-filled) opportunities to expand literacy in a variety of topics. Each week, a new exhibit will take the spotlight and will be connected to present-day events or even other exhibits in the museum! I hope you enjoy this journey!
Tune in for the next post where we will be starting off with the pre-historic era!
