Allan Gorman presents “A Nice Day for a Ride”

“Using my camera as a sketchbook,” he said, “I go out and look for subject matter that makes me stop and say ‘Hey! Look at that!'”

When painting he tries to convey the excitement he felt when he first saw the image he wanted to capture. “Then the artwork becomes more than just a technical rendering, but also something that resonates with the viewer emotionally.”

Gorman’s A Nice Day for a Ride is one of fifty artworks in LUSTER: Realism and Hyperrealism in Contemporary Automobile and Motorcycle Painting on view in the D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts through August 23, 2020.

To celebrate this exhibit, Gorman is giving away a fine-art print of A Nice Day for a Ride. For to win, visit www.allangormanart.com/niceday-giveaway.

The artist will announce the winner August 17th.

_____Allan Gorman’s work has been featured in over one hundred exhibition showings in museums, galleries, and major art fairs. The LUSTER exhibit was produced by David J. Wagner, L.L.C.
