From MASSLIVE: The new “GUITAR: The Instrument That Rocked The World” exhibit opens this Friday, January 18 and runs through April 21 at the Springfield Museums. It’s a terrific exhibit packed with artifacts, performance videos, audio, hands-on interactive, photos, touch screens and…yeah…GUITARS! You can design your own guitar, choosing the shape, color, designs and textures, you can have fun with the Air Guitar Stage, which comes with props, and basically see how this one special instrument launched rock and roll, and pop culture in general.
