Celebrating Pride at the Springfield Museums

The Springfield Museums are excited to announce Family Pride Day, an annual celebration of diversity, equality, and family, featuring a rainbow of activities for all ages—happening Saturday, June 22 from 10am–5pm. Free with Museum admission.

“Family Pride Day is a community-oriented program where visitors are welcome to join in on a variety of activities and collaborative projects to celebrate,” states Family Engagement Coordinator Abby Garner.

Attendees can create their own bracelets, buttons, tote bags, and more to show their pride in embracing who they are. Highlights of the day include a community mural led by artist Amy Reyor and a Pride Storytime hosted by the Springfield Public Library.

“We are excited to host our 3rd annual Family Pride Day, celebrating diversity and inclusion with the community,” exclaims Director of Education Larissa Murray.
