The Springfield Museums’ Culture & Cocktails series will continue with “It’s All Fun and Games” on Thursday, January 5, from 5 to 8 pm in the Lyman and Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History.
Guests will be able to try out all the activities in the new Hasbro GameLand, win prizes playing rounds of trivia led by a trivia host, and have a “portrait” drawn by a caricature artist. Museum School art instructor Susan Pecora will demonstrate watercolor painting, and Nicholas Degon will demonstrate glass etching. There will also be free hors d’oeuvres with a cash bar and music played by a DJ.
Admission is free for members of the Springfield Museums and $5 for non-members. The event is for people ages 21 and up. Both members and nonmembers are encouraged to make advance reservations through springfieldmuseums.org or by phone at 413.263.6800, ext. 266.
Free, secure onsite parking is available. For additional information about Culture & Cocktails, call 413.263.6800, ext. 379.
