The Springfield Museums will present the following Museums à la Carte programs in July. The programs are held on Thursdays at 12:15 pm in the Michele and Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts.

July 7 – Exploring Hill-Stead Inside and Out; Dr. Sue Sturtevant, director and CEO, and Melanie Anderson Bourbeau, M.A., curator, Hill-Stead Museum.

July 14 – The Art of the Ceremonial Trumpet; Vincent Cassotta, A Touch of Jazz.  

July 21 – Finding Joseph Skinner, Collector; Cheryl Harned, assistant curator, Joseph Allen Skinner Museum, Mount Holyoke College.

July 28 – The Lincoln Assassination; Christopher Daley, historian and lecturer.

Admission to Museums à la Carte is $4 ($2 for members of the Springfield Museums). The programs are sponsored by Big Y World Class Market. Visitors are invited to bring lunch to enjoy during the program. Cookies and coffee are provided.
