The Springfield Museums will be in the grip of “Margarita Madness” at their next Culture & Cocktails event of the season. The event takes place on Thursday, May 2 from 5-8 pm at the Lyman and Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History, and is sponsored by Merrill Lynch-Foundation Management Group.
As a prelude to Cinco de Mayo, attendees will be able to enjoy four specialty margaritas at the cash bar provided by Elegant Affairs, along with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and live Latin jazz music by S’Fere. A make-your-own margarita glass charm station will also be available to visitors, as well as opportunities to view the Wood Museum’s amazing collection of Springfield-made cars and Indian Motocycles.
Culture and Cocktails events take place on the first Thursday of most months, and are open to ages 21 and up Admission is free for members of the Springfield Museums and $5 for nonmembers.
