The Society of William Rice was created to honor major gifts to the organization, and represents the highest membership levels at the Springfield Museums. Besides the annual dinner, Society members enjoy other social events and benefits like admission to over 700 arts, cultural, and historical institutions in the U.S. and Canada.

This year’s black-tie event will feature a presentation on the American art market by William Haydock, Vice President and American Paintings Specialist at Christie’s Auctions and Private Sales. Catering for this year’s dinner is provided by The Federal; the dinner is sponsored by Christie’s and People’s United Bank.
