The Springfield Museums’ Summer Festival Days series will continue July 26-30 with “Mythical Creatures” week. Activities are free with the price of museum admission unless noted. Summer Festival Days is sponsored in part by Berkshire Bank.
Monday, July 26
Design a Chinese dragon fan, noon-3:45 p.m.
Tuesday, July 27
Performance, 1 p.m.: Fairy, Beasts and Lore by Angela C. Klinger, “The Storyteller” – Enter the realm of mythical creatures with traditional folk and fairy tales.
Wednesday, July 28
Performance, 1 p.m.: Jabberwocky by the Crabgrass Puppet Theatre – A delightful romp through Lewis Carroll’s Alice through the Looking Glass.
Thursday, July 29
Design a Chinese dragon fan, noon-3:45 p.m.
Friday, July 30
Performance, 1 p.m.: Fairy Circus by the Tanglewood Marionettes – The puppets will dance, play instruments, juggle, transform, and fly through the air with the greatest of ease, all to the music of favorite composers!
Daily Activities:
See the special exhibit of LEGO® sculptures, The Art of the Brick, at the D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts and create your own LEGO masterpieces in The Brick Lab at the Science Museum. (additional fee)
Hands-on Family Science Adventures, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Scavenger Hunts, 11 a.m.-3:45 p.m.
