The Springfield Museums at the Quadrangle will present the following Museums à la Carte programs in October. The programs are held on Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. in the Museum of Fine Arts.
Oct. 4 – Home Front: World War II Springfield; Frances Gagnon, Springfield historian. Oct. 11 – Holyoke: The Belle Skinner Legacy; Jack Dunn, author. Oct. 18 – Cabinets of Curiosity in 17th- & 18th-century Dutch Society; Faith Deering, naturalist and entomologist. Oct. 25 – The First American Revolution: The Pueblo Revolt of 1680; Louise Minks, historian. Admission to Museums à la Carte is $4 ($2 for members of the Springfield Museums). The programs are sponsored by Big Y World Class Market. Visitors are invited to bring lunch to enjoy during the program; cookies and coffee are provided.
