The Springfield Museums will present the following Museums à la Carte programs in September. The programs are held on Thursdays at 12:15 pm in the Michele and Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts.

• Sept. 8 – The Parallel Lives of Theodor Geisel and Salvador Dali; Christine Abro, docent, Springfield Museums and Dali Museum, St. Petersburg, Florida.
• Sept.15 – Art into Parks, Parks into Art; Gretchen Fox, M.A., independent art historian.
• Sept. 22 – Connecticut’s Art Museum Treasures; Vivian F. Zoë, director, Slater Memorial Museum, and chairman, Connecticut Art Trail.
• Sept. 29 – The Kennedy Assassination and the Warren Commission Report; Peter Quirk, historian and college lecturer. Public Forum collaboration

The presentations on September 15 and 29 are presented in conjunction with the Springfield Public Forum Thinks, programs which convene members of the community to be informed through expanded exploration of Public Forum lecture topics.

Admission to Museums à la Carte is $4 ($2 for members of the Springfield Museums). The programs are sponsored by Big Y World Class Market. Visitors are invited to bring lunch to enjoy during the program. Cookies and coffee are provided.
