Springfield Museums Announce Fall Hours and Planetarium Schedule

The Springfield Museums will resume fall hours on September 1. Hours at the Michele & Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts, the Lyman & Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History, and the George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum are Tuesday through Sunday, 11 am-4 pm The Science Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am-5 pm, and Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.

Springfield Science Museum
Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am-5 pm

The Springfield History Library & Archives in the Wood Museum of Springfield History

Tuesday-Friday,  11 am-4 pm
First Saturday of each month, 11 am-4 pm

Seymour Planetarium in the Springfield Science Museum
Closed in September. Programs will resume October 1.
Fridays, 2 pm
Saturdays & Sundays, 11:15 am, noon, 1 and 2 pm

Museum admission is $12.50 for adults, $9 for seniors and college students with ID, $6.50 for children ages 3-17, and free for children under three and museum members. Springfield residents receive free general admission with proof of address. The fee provides admission to all Springfield Museums and the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden.

Planetarium tickets are free for museum members. Nonmember tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for children ages 17 and under in addition to museum admission.
