The Museums will mark the occasion with a free Book Release Party from 10 a.m. to noon that day, which will feature read-alouds of the new book in the Sculpture Garden. Other Seuss- themed art activities are also scheduled during the party, along with appearances by the Cat in the Hat. Since the new book has a pet theme, Dakin Humane Society will also be present with information about pet adoption.
Copies of “What Pet Should I Get?” will also be for sale in the Museum Store along with other Seuss-themed merchandise.
