Paint your first still life in this crash-course, two-day workshop. This class is perfect for beginners who have never painted a still life before, or students who want to review the fundamentals. Over two days, students will create a still life painting using a photo reference, learning the tricks of the trade along the way. Concepts include toning the canvas, mixing vibrant and accurate colors, applying and blending paint, and finally, the secrets to making your painting look 3-D. Supply list provided. Please indicate whether you plan to attend in person or via Zoom.
