This two-day workshop will explore coil and slab hand building techniques. Students will be using a form to create a coil-built vessel and investigating a simple slab technique. The vessels can be either sculptural or functional. There will be a variety of shapes that can be explored. The clay pieces will be bisque fired in the kiln. The second class will explore the glazing process. Each piece will then be fired again in the kiln and picked up later day.
