Located at the former St. Andrew-on-Hudson Jesuit seminary, the Culinary Institute has a rich and long tradition of offering the highest quality culinary education going back to 1946. We’ll tour the teaching kitchens before enjoying a culinary escape in their Ristorante Caterina de’ Medici, a Tuscan-style villa. Following lunch, we’ll visit Cedar Grove, the 1815 home and studio of painter Thomas Cole, founder of the Hudson River School of American painting. Delight in the sweeping view of the Catskill Mountains as we learn about the artist’s life and career at this historic site.
