Take inspiration from the natural world in this workshop that will teach you how to observe and record your surroundings. Sonya Vickers has taught “the art of seeing” to artists of all ages and skills, including adults who say they cannot draw. Anyone can keep a journal of their observations, no matter their skill level in art. All you need is the patience to observe and document what you see.
In this workshop, you will begin your own observational nature journal. We’ll study examples from the natural world and document them together. Journal not included, students should bring a bound, unlined blank journal with thick paper. Supply list provided.
