Enjoy a tour of Touro Synagogue (dedicated in 1763), a structure of exquisite beauty and design and the oldest synagogue building in the United States. Tour the NMAI, founded in 1998 and located in the Gilded Age mansion Vernon Court. The NMAI is the first national museum devoted exclusively to American illustration artwork with a collection of over 2,000 original works by noted American illustrators such as Norman Rockwell, Maxfield Parrish, J. C. Leyendecker, Howard Pyle, N.C. Wyeth, and others. Lunch in Newport included.
