Come paint an atmospheric winter scene. This workshop is geared for students who are interested in putting their skills and painting knowledge to use in a two day guided watercolor painting workshop. The goal is to capture the mood and atmosphere of a wintery snow scene. The instructor will provide a reference photo and take the students step by step through the entire process from composition, suggested colors and finished painting. You will learn how to create luminous skies, winter foliage and snow using the white of the paper and shadows. This workshop is recommended for students who have taken Andrea’s beginner class and any students who have the basic understanding of color mixing, various techniques and are comfortable participating in a “guided painting” setting.
